Realish stories are protected by copyright. They may not be republished on other websites, social networks or groups without the editors’ permission.

We report copies on Facebook: they get removed, and pages and groups can be blocked for repeat violations.

These are the rules of realish.net. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree with something, please don't use the site.

1. What Realish is

Realish is a site of real-life stories in English, Ukrainian and Russian, run by the Realish editorial team, Ukraine. The stories are based on real situations and given a literary treatment by our editors; see the Disclaimer for details.

2. Age

The site is intended for adult readers. You must be at least 16 to comment, sign in or send a story.

3. Signing in

You can read the site without signing in. Signing in with Google or by an email link gives you a profile, reply notifications and the My account section. You are responsible for access to your email and your Google account. You can delete your account in your profile or by writing to info@realish.net.

4. Comments

We welcome every honest opinion, including disagreement. But in comments you may not:

  • insult other readers, story characters or the editors, or stir up hatred;
  • post links, ads, phone numbers, addresses or other personal details — yours or anyone else's;
  • pretend to be someone else or the editors;
  • post anything illegal, obscene or knowingly false.

Comments go through an automatic check, and the editors may hide any comment without giving a reason. Repeated violations may lead to losing the ability to comment.

5. Reader stories

By sending a story through the Share your story form, you confirm that it is your story or that you have the right to share it, and that it reveals no one else's secrets that shouldn't be disclosed. You agree that the editors may edit the text, change names, places and details, translate the story into the site's other languages, and publish it — or not publish it. We publish only with your consent.

You remain the author. By sending a story, you give the site a free, non-exclusive right to publish it, including in edited form and in translation. If you change your mind, write to info@realish.net and we'll take the story down.

6. Rights to site content

The stories, design and other content of the site are protected by copyright. You are welcome to share links to stories. Copying whole stories or republishing them on other sites without the editors' written permission is not allowed.

7. Ads and links to other sites

The site shows ads from third-party services, and stories sometimes contain links and videos from other sites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or rules — check their terms yourself when you visit them.

8. Liability

We work to keep the site running smoothly but can't guarantee it: the site is provided "as is". We aren't responsible for outages, data loss, or decisions you make under the influence of the stories. See the Disclaimer for more.

9. Personal data

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date of the latest change is shown at the top of the page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
